Rainbow Bridge, Suspension bridge in Tokyo Bay
The Rainbow Bridge is a suspension bridge crossing northern Tokyo Bay between Shibaura Pier and the Odaiba waterfront development in Minato, Tokyo.
Constructed by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, the bridge was completed in 1993.
The bridge is an iconic part of Tokyo's skyline and has been featured in numerous films and television shows.
It carries three transportation lines: the Shuto Expressway's No. 11 Daiba Route, Route 357, and the Yurikamome rapid transit system.
The bridge is illuminated into three different colors, red, white and green every night using solar energy obtained during the day.
