The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour stands as a majestic landmark in the Khamovniki District of Moscow.

Originally commissioned by Tsar Alexander I, it commemorates Russia's victory against Napoleon.

As the tallest Orthodox Christian church in the world, it is a symbol of Russian religious tradition.

Following its demolition in 1931, the cathedral was reconstructed and completed on August 19, 2000.

It houses some of the Russian Orthodox Church's most sacred relics and artistic treasures.
