Tham Luang cave rescue, Subterranean cave in Thailand
The Tham Luang cave is a magnificent complex system located in the province of Chiang Rai, northern Thailand.
Renowned for the 2018 rescue mission where 12 boys and their soccer coach were trapped inside due to monsoon flooding.
Tham Luang cave is considered a significant cultural landmark and local communities hold ceremonies there regularly.
Visitors are advised to stay on guided tours, as many parts of the cave remain unexplored are dangerous.
The Tham Luang cave has multiple large chambers which can reach up to 10 kilometers in length.
