Vallot Hut, Mountain hut in France
The Vallot Hut is a shelter located near Mont Blanc summit.
Built in 1890, Vallot Hut has served as an observatory and refuge for climbers.
The hut is named after Joseph Vallot, a French naturalist and mountaineer.
Not intended for overnight stays, except in case of emergency.
Situated at an altitude of 4,362 meters, it's one of the highest huts in the Alps.
