Gobindgarh Fort, Historic fort in Punjab, India
Gobindgarh Fort is a historic military fort located in the center of the city of Amritsar in the Indian state of Punjab.
The fort was initially built by Gujjar Singh Bhangi, a local chieftain in the 18th century, and later fortified by Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
It houses several attractions including museums, live performances, and exhibitions showcasing Punjabi culture.
The fort is open to visitors from 10 am to 10 pm every day.
It's known as the 'very symbol of Punjab.'
