Circle Bridge, Bridge in Denmark
The Circle Bridge is characterized by its five circular platforms.
Designed by artist Ólafur Elíasson and opened in 2015.
It bridges the gap between the areas of Christianshavn and Frederiksholmen.
Facilitates pedestrian and bicycle traffic across the Christianshavn Canal.
Its design reflects Copenhagen’s maritime history and merchant ships.
