Established in 1868, Parliament Square is noted for its green space and statues of notable statesmen.
The Square has been a site of numerous political demonstrations throughout its existence.
Parliament Square is close to key attractions such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and the Houses of Parliament.
It's one of the few squares in London that prohibits picnics and sunbathing.
