The Unknown Warrior, War memorial in London.

The Unknown Warrior is a war memorial located in Westminster Abbey, dedicated to the British soldiers who died during World War I.

Unveiled on 11 November 1920, it commemorates the numerous soldiers who lost their lives during the First World War but whose bodies were never identified or found.

The tomb of The Unknown Warrior has become an important symbol of mourning for military personnel in Britain and the Commonwealth.

Visitors can pay their respects at Westminster Abbey, where the tomb is located.

The grave contains soil from various battlefields and is covered by a slab of black Belgian marble.
