Coopey Falls, Waterfall in the United States
Coopey Falls is a scenic 150-foot waterfall within the Columbia River Gorge.
Named after Charles Coopey, a Welch emigrant, who owned the surrounding land in the 1880s.
The falls are near the Angel's Rest hiking trail, popular among local hikers for its views.
Accessible via a short, although sometimes steep, hike from the Historic Columbia River Highway.
The falls spill over the basalt cliffside, characteristic of the region's geology.
