It's North America's deepest river gorge at 7,993 feet.
The canyon was used for transportation by the Nez Perce tribe and early settlers.
Today, it's a popular spot for hiking, camping, and whitewater rafting.
Despite its name, Hells Canyon is known for its breathtaking beauty.
