The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail is a route traversing the Pacific Northwest of United States.
Incepted in 1978, it celebrates the Lewis and Clark Expedition of 1804-06.
This trail has a significant cultural heritage, explored by two famous explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark.
It provides opportunities for hiking, boating and horseback riding.
Stretching over 3700 miles, this trail is the second largest of the 23 National Historic Trails in America.
