Palais de Chaillot, Palace in Paris, France
The Palais de Chaillot is a monumental building at the top of the Chaillot hill in the Trocadéro area in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, France.
Built for the 1937 Paris Exhibition, it replaced the old Palais du Trocadéro which was demolished in 1935.
The palace houses several museums including the Musée de l'Homme and the Musée de la Marine.
It offers one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower across the Seine River.
The esplanade in front of the palace was the site of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.
