Lido di Venezia is an 11 km long sandbar in Venice, northern Italy.
Historically, the Lido di Venezia was the first place in Europe to have a beach resort, dating back to the 19th century.
It is known for the annual Venice International Film Festival held there.
The Lido can be accessed via water buses from central Venice.
It separates the Venetian Lagoon from the Adriatic Sea.
