Oresund Connection, Bridge-tunnel in Scandinavia
The Øresund Bridge is a combined railway and motorway bridge across the Øresund strait between Sweden and Denmark.
Opened on 1 July 2000, the bridge was built as part of the Øresund Region development project.
The bridge has become a symbol of Scandinavian unity and architecture.
It provides a direct link for travelers between central Copenhagen and Malmö.
