Cavenagh Bridge, Suspension bridge in Singapore
Cavenagh Bridge spans the lower reaches of the Singapore River in the Downtown Core.
Built in 1869, it is the oldest bridge across the Singapore River still in its original form.
The bridge reflects Singapore's colonial history and European influence.
It has been converted to a pedestrian bridge, linking the Financial district with the Civic district.
Declared a national monument on 14 February 1997.
