The Hollywood Walk of Fame comprises more than 2,600 five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street.
The Walk of Fame was created in 1958 as a tribute to artists working in the entertainment industry.
Each star on the Walk of Fame represents an artist's contribution to the fields of motion pictures, television, recording, radio, or live performance.
The Walk of Fame is open to the public, no tickets needed.
It is the only walk of fame which is awarded by a chamber of commerce.
