Athabasca Glacier, Glacier in Canada.
The Athabasca Glacier is one of the six principal 'toes' of the Columbia Icefield, located in the Canadian Rockies.
Over the past 125 years, it has lost more than 60% of its volume details, this glacier is likely to disappear within a generation.
The Glaciers' proximity to the Icefields Parkway makes it a popular tourist stop.
Tourists are transported by huge snowcoaches to a safe site on the glacier.
Despite the massive ice depth, summer temperatures can make the experience rather wet.
