Lim Bo Seng Memorial, War memorial in Singapore
The Lim Bo Seng Memorial is a historical landmark dedicated to the World War II hero of the same name.
Built in 1954, the structure commemorates anti-Japanese resistance fighter Lim Bo Seng.
Lim Bo Seng became a national symbol of patriotism and resistance during the Japanese Occupation of Singapore.
The memorial is located in Esplanade Park and is easily accessible to public visitors.
Designed by Ng Keng Siang, it is the only war memorial in Singapore bearing the name of an individual.
