Jewel House, Treasure vault in Tower of London
The Jewel House is a vault housing the British Crown Jewels in the Waterloo Block at the Tower of London.
It was first built in 1303, and rebuilt twice, once in 1508 and again in 1967.
The Jewel House has been an integral part of British royal ceremonies for centuries.
It is open to the public and can be visited as part of a tour of the Tower of London.
