Diwan-i-Khas, Hall of Private Audiences in Red Fort, India
The Diwan-i-Khas, also known as the Hall of Private Audiences, is a chamber in the Red Fort of Delhi where the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan received courtiers and state guests.
Built in 1635, it was the location where the Peacock Throne was originally kept before being moved to Persia by Nadir Shah in 1739.
